Hello you are looking at a Vintage Streamline travel trailer. FOR SALE OR TRADE The trailer has had some updates from the 70tys when it was manufactured. All the crummy cheap thin paneling was removed off the walls and was replaced with beautiful bead board and shiny rivets. The carpet was removed from the front and replaced with Brazilian Walnut Hard wood. From the kitchen to the back in the bathroom new linoleum was installed in 2019. The Contractor attempted to install new shoe molding as well. The old pluming was taken out and replaced with new Pex. As you can see from the pictures it has a full shower and toilet as well as a kitchen. There is plenty of space for storage. I have just had the rims redone as well as all new tires tubes and flaps put on the trailer in 2019. The holding tanks were removed from the trailer before I purchased it. So it will have to have an active supply. The main power cord was just updated as well. Also in 2020 a brand new Coleman Mach Air conditioner was installed. When you enter the Streamline there is a firebrick LP heater mounted on the wall for heat. The 2 bottles mounted in the front of the trailer on the tongue come with it. Keep in mind this is a vintage trailer it does have a couple of quarks. The back bumper is a little rusty. The new shoe molding is not perfect. I do have the poles for the pull out shade awning. However no awning you will need to purchase one. Wheel hubs could use some fresh grease before it gets on down the road. I have installed a light bar on the back of the bumper for pulling it at night. This is a pretty jam up trailer. We have put a lot of time and hard work in it. I just had it Pressure washed in November.
I've learned the two partners of Streamline broke off from Airstream, and started Silver Streak, then one decided to use 3 rails foundation instead of just two to go on his own to create Streamline, with belly pan and more support. Some say the best made, but like a Ford, or Chevy man, that might be a personal concept. (Two plants were in production) lifetime warranty, was upheld by the placement of parts in a warehouse in Elkhart, Indiana, supposedly. Have a look at the Photos. Some were taken a couple years ago some were taken recently.
In 1957 two Airstream designers, Harry Lovett and Pat Patterson, broke off to form their own trailer manufacturer in El Monte, California. They opened their new 21,000 square-foot facility at 10840 Central Avenue and started tweaking the designs of Airstream. Using similar construction methods consisting of riveted aluminum airplane construction, the company started selling trailers in 19', 23', 27' and 31' lengths. The 19' and 23' models came with a single axle while the larger two came with double axles. Stoves, refrigerators, in-lay linoleum, 2' insulated walls and twin or double beds came standard, setting them apart from their competition.
